Dennis Jarrett is the co-founder of the #1 Fastest Growing Franchise in the county, Stratus Franchising, the domestic franchising arm of Stratus Building Solutions, and has served as Chief Executive Officer since its formation in the St. Louis, Missouri area in October of 2006. Mr. Jarrett was also the co-founder of Stratus' predecessor, Stratus Affiliated Services which provided additional services and offerings to the franchise community and was a director and Chief Executive Officer of that entity, as well. Lastly, Dennis is Chief Executive Officer of Stratus International, which is the global entity that operates Stratus outside of the USA.

Currently residing in Chicago, Illinois, this world traveler is always on the go. Before he co-founded Stratus, the 20 year veteran of the franchising industry served as President of Jan-Pro International from 2001-2004, a national janitorial franchise company based in the Atlanta, Georgia area. Prior to his work with Jan-Pro, he was Vice-President of Coverall North America, Inc. from 1995-2000 also a national janitorial franchising company based in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

Through his previous work, he and his business associate, Stratus President Pete Frese, saw a great opportunity before them. The ability to provide a world class service to franchisees, customers and employees did not exist in this industry in the way the two entrepreneurs envisioned. This "better way" is primarily driven by environmental stewardship through a variety of green initiatives. Under his leadership, Stratus became the first and only franchise company to develop their own privately branded line of cleaning solutions called Stratus Green Clean. These solutions are Green Seal Certified and provide the Stratus customer and franchisee a decided edge in keeping their facility healthy, clean and safe for all inhabitants. In fact, that's how the Stratus promise of Cleaning for Health got started.

Bringing his experience and innovation with him enabled Stratus to grow exponentially and win awards such as the annual 2010 Inc. 500|5000 Fastest Growing Companies, three Top Ten spots on Entrepreneur's Franchise 500 - including #1 Fastest Growing Franchise, Franchise Times Fast 55, Black Enterprise Top 40 Best Franchises for African Americans, Poder 360's Top 26 Franchises for Hispanics and the 50 Top Franchises for Minorities by the World Franchising Network. He is married with three daughters and enjoys reading, traveling and even more than executing a successful business, time with his family.
